I grew up with two healthcare providers for parents whose frustrations with our healthcare system continue to motivate my career.
After two years of researching the rollout of the Affordable Care Act for a Harvard economist, I plunged into the health tech world and my career since then has been a series of firsts:
-
At the start of my tech career, I was the first member of a value-based care strategy team at athenahealth, where I led the company’s responses to key payment reforms and worked with the company’s most strategic clients to launch new product features.
-
Out of graduate school, I was the first policy director at Manifest MedEx, where I helped pass landmark legislation to require the sharing of data between providers and health plans. I also helped launch both state and national nonprofits focused on health data exchange.
-
Most recently, I was the first B2B product leader at Oscar Health, where I led the first partner launches of a novel automated patient outreach product for physician groups and health plans, and led all technology work for the company’s small group insurance partnership with Cigna.
I have an MBA and MPH from UC Berkeley and a B.A. from Brandeis in economics and music performance.
